Future Prospects

The professional field of occupational therapy is broad, and therefore, career opportunities are not limited to medical institutions but also extend to social welfare organizations, general and special education schools, rehabilitation and care centers for individuals with disabilities, long-term care or nursing homes, and home and community-based occupational therapy services.

Graduates from our department can also choose to pursue further education in related graduate programs both domestically and internationally. These include fields such as occupational therapy, rehabilitation and assistive technology, special education, medical engineering, behavioral sciences, rehabilitation counseling, medical management, and basic or clinical medicine. In addition to clinical work, graduates may also engage in teaching, research, and other academic roles.
